Keep the Flame Lit – Fazal Manzil (The House of Blessing)
The Nekbakht Foundation is happy to be working together with Egeling/Inayat Stichtings, owners of Fazal Manzil; l’Universel, owners of half of the garden, the Memorial Noor and no. 13 rue de la Tuilerie, and the Fonds de Dotation Mir Pyrumian-van-Goens, owner of Ekbal Dowla, 14 rue de la Tuilerie to establish Sufi Suresnes as a place of study and pilgrimage. However in order to give full access to visitors and provide a safe comfortable space for events, renovation is needed and an appeal for funds was launched on Sunday 2nd May.

Spring 2022 will mark 100 years since Hazrat Inayat Khan settled at Fazal Manzil. Situated just outside of Paris, this “house of blessing” has been the ‘heartquarters’ of the Sufi Message of Hazrat Inayat Khan since he lived there—a place for pilgrimage, study, meditation, gatherings, music, talks, seminars and retreats.

Work is now underway to restore and renovate the house in order to welcome you, and all those who would like to visit, safely and inclusively. The target is to raise €555,000 and as of 2nd May already €100,000 had been raised and there is an offer of matched funding for up to €200,000. Restoration efforts encompass the Music Room, Library, and a Museum/Research Centre. These spaces and the Khanqa (gathering place) will also be upgraded so we can carry on having lectures, gatherings, and retreats.
